Merrimack Valley Camera Club is a great group of people who are passionate about photography.  We’re open to every skill level, from beginning to advanced. Some members have been with us for several decades while others are brand new.

    Not a member but curious? We invite you to join us as a guest for one of our Wednesday evening meetings to check us out!  We’re all about sharing valuable content to expand your love of photography, including educational presentations, friendly club competitions, field trip opportunities, and the sharing of ideas and information.

      Note:  For all Church Meetings, the MVCC meets on Wednesday evenings from September through May, at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 72 Elm Street, North Andover, Massachusetts.   Join us for socializing from 7:00-7:30 p.m. and the Program at 7:30-9:00 p.m. Please check the Calendar for the latest schedule information.

       


       

      Field Trip Announcements:  On Thursday, March 20, 2025 From 10:30AM To 3:30PM in Gloucester MA, The Gloucester Walk and Rocky Neck Artist Colony

      Gloucester is home to America’s oldest seaport and one of the oldest working art colonies called, Rocky Neck (a Painters Village).  Our field trip will have two parts, first we will start at Stage Fort Park Welcome Center (free parking).  We will walk along a coastal path with views of the city harbor area.  !0 Pound Lighthouse, Historic Stage Fort cannons, Half Moon Beach, and Man at The Wheel statue , Fishermen's Memorial.   Part one will end with a walk through several side streets provide interesting phot opportunities as well as the fishing boat docking area.  For Part two, we will travel a short distance (15 minutes) to the Rocky Neck Art Colony located in East Gloucester (where there is free parking).

    • NECCC 2024-2025 Competition Winners 

      Congratulations to three club members who won awards during the winter 2025 NECCC (New England Camera Club Council) digital interclub competition. Deb Sullivan scored a deserving first place for “Savoring Nature’s Bounty” in the nature category. Tom Curtin earned an honorable mention in the same category for “Macaque Family.” Bill Willis rounded out our winners with an honorable mention in the monochrome category for “Jolie in Paris.” Congratulations to all three!

      Congratulations to MVCC’s Jutta Curtin and Chuck Haaser! Each was awarded an Honorable Mention during the first print NECCC (New England Camera Club Council) competition for the 2024-2025 season. Jutta was honored with “Time Traveller” and Chuck’s standout image was “Dawn Patrol.”

      Congratulations Mel Briggle! His “Church” earned an Honorable Mention during the first NECCC (New England Camera Club Council) digital interclub competition for the 2024-2025 season. Mel loves to create black & white portraits. But his non-portrait work is also exceptional!
